Today i released Newton, the paid version as well as updated the Lite version to be ad supported. I included all 27 levels Stefanie did in the lite version plus the editor and level sharing capabilities. The full version has no ads and features another 47 levels by Tim. The full version is 0.99€ on the market, i think it’s a very fair price. Given that we added the full feature set to the lite version too i think we can’t do more for our players. I’m curious how this works out. Thanks for your support and patience.
Update: we already have 2 sales! Awesome, thanks to you two guys.
And this is awesome too:
“It feels a little cheap”, that’s how we roll!
Update 2: half a day has passed by and we have 27 sales. Thanks a bunch to you people out there. On the other hand we also have nice comments on the free version:
“Only more ads with update”
“Update is just ADS. DO NOT UPDATE.”
Awesome, i guess a map editor, map sharing and 27 new levels in the LITE version are not enough for some folks. Well, can’t make everyone happy…
Update 3: 32 sales in 24 hours. That’s a lot more than i expected. Also, only 2 people did cancel their order. Would have thought that rate would be higher. Cool, we won’t get rich though

Promising game; I’m having fun.
But there’s one thing I find a little frustrating: the arrow buttons are “too small”. As in, most of the time when I try to nudge the angle with a button, I end up scrolling the viewport instead. It’s just as if only the actual, thin, arrow was sensitive, not the whole rectangular area. And with my fat, stubby fingers I just can’t consistently hit the arrows instead of the empty screen.
When the levels start getting a little more involved, and you need to tune it precicely over and over again, this becomes enough of an impediment that I just gave up. I keep it installed in the hope that you’ll make the buttons a bit easier to hit. ^_^
Hi Janne,
point taken. I actually worked on that for quiet some time, getting the ratio between the button size and lost screen space right is pretty hard. I try to come up with something better. Thanks for reporting back!
Mario
Is there any way to save what level you’re on rather than selecting the level each time you restart the game?
Thanks, like it so far.
Hi,
if you play the badlogic levels and quit at some point you should see a “continue” button next time you start newton which will start where you left of the last time. But let me double check that. Maybe i fucked up somewhere.
Ok, that only works if you play via “New Game”. When you chose your level manually via “Select level” it won’t work. Should i change that?
That would be nice to have, imo.
